Classic Italian Takeaway foods
We pride ourselves on preparing a variety of different foods in our kitchens to express our love for authentic Italian cuisine. Ranging from classic oven-baked pizzas, made with locally sourced ingredients to our “Nona’s Recipe” lasagne’s, of course, our homemade focaccia paninis the list goes on! To us it’s not just a dish it’s a tradition, we specialise in recipes from all regions of Italy. Vegan? No need to worry we have it covered. Our aim is to fully optimise our menu to fit the requirements of all foodies, hence why we have such an amazing selection of fillings for our freshly made focaccia & pizzas.
We love the classics, but our ambition is to bring new combinations of flavours together to offer something for everyone!
Our Story
It all started in Calabria
It all started with a passion for food & people. Olga, in her early childhood remembers the magnificence atmosphere her local shop in Corigliano had. A local shop in a small town in Italy isn’t just a shop but a place where you would bump into your friends or family and discuss about your daily life. whilst also being emersed by the most local Italian foods. She always wanted to bring this atmosphere here in the UK, to really give the people of Bath a chance to feel the same energy and atmosphere she felt back in her local stores.
In June 2021, Olga opened Il Mercato Di Bath. An Italian delicatessen with a variety of Italian products. All of which range from all different parts of Italy. From the local calabrese Nduja to the Neapolitan burrata’s it’s all carefully selected to give the local people of Bath a chance to get a glimpse into the tastes of Italy.
So come feel at home in our shop. We are here to take you on an Italian journey.

Our meal boxes are an easy way to bring authentic Italian food straight to your plate. With simple & detailed recipes you’ll be able to venture on a journey of regional Italian cuisine in your own kitchen. We aim to bring out new recipes every month and all you need is our pre-packed boxes which will provide all ingredients & our easy-to-follow recipe instructions.
